Join me in my private Bristol studio for 3 x two-hour long lessons.
The class is tailored to your needs, whether it’s your first time touching clay or you have some experience of throwing and want help with technique or specific goals.
If you are a beginner or would like a structured experience, we’ll spend the first session throwing on the wheel and the second session trimming your leather-hard pots and adding handles. The third session is for decorating your pots with underglazes, transfers or carving. I’ll fire up to three finished pieces per participant in transparent glaze. These can be picked up or posted to you (at an extra cost) a few weeks after your class.
If you have some experience with throwing and want help with a specific project or technique, we can use all three sessions working on your aims.
You’ll have my undivided attention and spend the whole two hours making - I’ll handle the clay prep and cleaning up! All clay, tools and equipment are provided.
My studio is equipped with two wheels, so I can accommodate up to two people in a class.
The three sessions can happen on consecutive days, or with up to a week in between. I’m flexible with class times, including evenings and weekends and I will contact you after you purchase a lesson to book you in. If you have specific dates / times in mind, please drop me an email before ordering to check my availability.
My studio is in Bristol, BS15 1AW. There is plenty of parking on site.

I will give you a briefing on health and safety, and fire evacuation when you arrive for your class. Please be mindful of your safety whilst in the studio. You use equipment and facilities at your own risk and I cannot be held responsible for any accidents.
Class attendees must be over 18 years old.
Cancellations: I am not able to refund any cancellations within 14 days of the lesson date but I do understand things come up so will endeavour to find an alternative date. Lessons can only be re-arranged once.
