Reason for Reduction - Small crack at handle join (these occur during glaze firing and fill with molten glaze)
This big, cosy mug is thrown on the potters wheel from flecked stoneware clay. It is then ‘fluted’ by hand when leather hard to create 21 grooves around the mug. Each groove is hand-painted to create the rainbow pattern. Finished with transparent glaze.
Every item is entirely handmade by Emma and there will be some variations in size, shape and finish. Photos are illustrative of the handmade item you will receive. Items sold individually.
9.5cm tall, 9.5cm wide at base, 450ml-ish capacity (measurements are approximate). Gentle hand-washing recommended, can be used in dishwasher and microwave. Click here for more information on care of your item.
