Reason for Reduction - Items in this listing are seconds and have pinholes in the glaze over the tattoo design and / or very small hairline cracks at the handle join or a small crack on the inside base which is filled with glaze.
Hairline crack at handle join - These occur in the glaze firing and the molten glaze fills / covers the crack before cooling, but naturally this can be a weak point.
This mug was thrown on the potters wheel from white stoneware clay. It is hand decorated in coloured underglazes with an old school heart and banner tattoo design. Finished with transparent glaze.
Every item is entirely handmade by Emma and there will be some variations in size, shape and finish. Photos are illustrative of the handmade item you will receive. Items sold individually.
9.5cm tall, 9.5-10cm wide at base, 400ml-ish capacity (measurements are approximate). Gentle hand-washing recommended, can be used in dishwasher and microwave. Click here for more information on care of your item.
Right handed means if you hold the mug in your right hand the design faces away from your body - left handed means if you hold in your left hand the design faces away.
